Since 1979 ZANTA Pianoforti

After twenty years of training in the laboratories of major companies, Silvano Zanta founded ZANTA Pianoforti in 1979.

Since the beginning, our main commitment has been the restoration of grand and upright pianos, gaining over time a first-class technique and an excellent level of professionalism, which allowed us to obtain great recognition from international artists.

The company takes care of ordinary and extraordinary maintenance of a large number of instruments belonging to relevant companies, including the Conservatory of Music based in Venice “B. Marcello “, Vicenza “A. Pedrollo”, Rovigo “F. Venezze “, Castelfranco Veneto “A. Steffani” and in Padua “C. Pollini”, as well as major foundations and academies.

In our pianos’ restoration laboratory, we can carry out any kind of work, such as the reconstruction of entire parts of the instruments. Thanks to the decoration masters of the School of Arts based in Venice, ZANTA Pianoforti is able to restore or reproduce any type of decoration, guaranteeing an entirely handmade outcome of the highest quality.

ZANTA Pianos also supplies a great number of theatres throughout the country, as well as many artists, following them for the entire duration of their tours of classical music, jazz, light or lyric music.

Silvano Zanta has built a revered company, renowned at European levels, thanks to the professionalism and the high-quality levels reached.

Nowadays, he is supported by his son Roberto, who learn and improve their skills in this profession, guided by their meticulous and experienced father.

Thanks to the rich and meaningful amount of experience gained along the years, we have come to the realization of a grand piano designed in collaboration with the designer Enzo Berti. ZB200 opens a new and innovative approach, both from the point of view of the shape and from the sound point of view.

Philosophy

To meet our customer with his Piano is the goal that we want to achieve. Be it finding the right instrument for the pianist’s touch or bringing back to life an obsolete piano, it’s always a task that requires love, passion and sensitivity. In 50 years of history we have always been looking for the perfect chord.
